LIME Exits Linear Cable TV Landscape, Focuses on Broadband

NEW YORK, January 29: LIME, majority owned by Steve Case’s
Revolution Living, is phasing out its linear TV offering to focus on digital
on-demand platforms, including its newly launched broadband channel, whose
motto is “Healthy Living With a Twist.”

"The launch of our dedicated broadband channel enables
us to expand our reach to the fast growing tech-savvy community who are looking
for ways to improve their lives and find both professionally produced and
community inspired content on living a healthier, greener and more balanced
life on their own terms," said C.J. Kettler, the founder and CEO of LIME.
"By shifting our focus to all-digital on-demand platforms, we can better
realize our goal of providing more control and convenience for our users."

The new broadband channel aims to give its 1.5 million
viewers more control and convenience than a linear cable TV offering. The line-up of programming will feature
hosts including best-selling author Deepak Chopra, celebrity nutritionist Dr.
Oz Garcia, and natural chef Michel Nischan, among others. More than 80 percent
of its program offerings will be original, and the channel launches with more
than 100 original long- and short-form titles.

As part of the overall launch strategy, LIME has inked video
deals with Yahoo! Health, along with the newly announced Joost. On Joost, LIME
programs will be featured in a standalone channel to be launched in the first
quarter of this year. These deals join LIME’s existing strategic online video
syndication initiatives with Google and AOL.
