DIC Rolls Out Horseland

BURBANK, January 16: DIC Entertainment
has confirmed a range of broadcast and home entertainment agreements on its new
girl-skewing series Horseland,
airing in the U.S. on the KOL Secret Slumber Party on CBS Saturday-morning block.

In Europe, DIC has signed
broadcast deals with ZDF/KiKa, France 5/Teletoon, TV2 Norway, SVT Digital
Channel in Sweden, Jetix for the Netherlands, VT4 in Belgium, TG4 in Ireland,
S4C and Alter TV. The show is also set to launch in the Middle East on the
pan-regional service Spacetoons and Turkey’s Saran. A deal has also been inked
in Central America with Panama’s Medcom. Home entertainment deals were
concluded with Scanbox (Scandinavia), ZDF (German-speaking Europe) and FMG
(Dutch-speaking Benelux).
