Fox Inks German PPV Deal

HOLLYWOOD/LONDON/MUNICH,
January 12: Twentieth Century Fox and On Demand Group have inked a multi-year
pay-per-view licensing agreement to provide on-demand movie content to
Germany’s largest cable operator, Kabel Deutschland.

The arrangement brings
current and upcoming movies to Kabel Deutschland subscribers across Germany via
its digital cable service Select Kino. Titles include X-Men: The Last Stand, Walk the Line and Ice Age: The Meltdown.

Kabel Deutschland operates
cable networks in 13 of Germany's states and supplies its services to around 10
million connected TV households.

On
Demand Group (ODG), a subsidiary SeaChange International, operates FilmFlex, a
video-on-demand movie service with Sony Pictures and The Walt Disney Company in
the U.K.
