TVFI Announces Winners of Export Awards

PARIS, December 12: TV France International has awarded Prix de l’Export awards,
celebrating the best-selling French programs on the global market, to Taffy
Entertainment, ZED and Marathon International.

The awards were presented last
night in Paris at the PROCIREP Producer Awards ceremony.

In the animation category, the
award went to Taffy’s Code Lyoko, a
co-production of MoonScoop, France 3 and Canal J. The hit kids’ series beat out
Marathon International’s Martin Mystere
and Xilam Animation’s Shuriken School.

In documentaries, ZED took the
award for Devenir un Homme, which has
been licensed into more than 180 markets. It won over 2001 Audiovisuel’s L’Enfer
du Pacifique
and Doc & Co’s Soupçons (The Staircase).

Marathon International’s Dolmen won the fiction category. The hit TF1 series was up
against France Télévisions Distribution’s Frank Riva and 2001 Audiovisuel’s Lagardère.
