Al Jazeera English Launches Series on Iraq

DOHA, November 8: Al Jazeera’s 24-hour English-language news
and current affairs channel has announced plans for a new weekly program, Inside
Iraq.

Al Jazeera English’s Inside Iraq will be hosted by Iraq-born Jasim Azawi and will
examine the conflict in the Middle Eastern nation. “With no agenda of its own,
other than a commitment to fair and objective analysis, Inside Iraq will take an uncompromising look at events in Iraq,
offering viewers seldom heard opinions, and encouraging the debate to extend
beyond the program,” commented Ibrahim Helal, the deputy managing director of
news and programs at the channel.
