ADV Launches Digital Download Storefront for Anime Content

HOUSTON, September 26: The
U.S.-based anime producer/distributor ADV Films has launched a digital
storefront that allows consumers to access a range of titles on a
download-to-own basis.

ADV Universe opens with almost 1,000 minutes of anime
content. To promote the store, the first episode of the new show Guyver is available for free to first-time customers. The Guyver DVD will not be released until November 14.

Also available on ADV Universe are Comic Party Revolution
TV
, Jinki: Extend, Godannar,
Gilgamesh, Princess
Tutu
, Magical Play, Lady Death and Parasite Dolls,
among others. Prices range from $4.99 for a half-hour episode to $19.98 for
movies. The store will also include free content, such as trailers,
screensavers, exclusive clips and downloadable art.
