ZDF Showcases German Drama

BUDAPEST, June 20: ZDF
Enterprises will be showcasing several German dramas at DISCOP this week,
including the telenovela Julia— Way to Happiness.

The distributor will also
be offering up new releases in some of its key franchises: three new Rosamunde
Pilcher films and two Inga Lindström and The Holiday Doctor
films.

ZDF’s tradition of crime
drama continues with the International Emmy-winning The Eagle; and the new police series, The Specialists:
Rhein-Main Crime Squad, which
follows a group of crime-fighters around the streets of Frankfurt.

On the factual end, ZDF
will also release the docudrama The Prophet: John Paul II—Drama and
Secret, and the documentaries Goering, Metropolis and the International Emmy Award winner Drama of Dresden.
