Endemol International Showcases Finished Product at DISCOP

BUDAPEST, June 20: Endemol
International will be showcasing a variety of ready-to-air reality titles,
dramas and telenovelas at DISCOP, in addition to its catalogue of formats.

The offerings include Five’s
Larger than Life, a four-part
series about obesity; the telenovela Doble Argentina from Argentina; and the Dutch detective series Gripstra
& De Grier and Baantjer. In addition, Endemol will be rolling out the
third season of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and the sixth of NBC’s Fear Factor.

“This will be one of the
widest ranging ready-made slates we have ever brought to this market,” said
Matt Creasey, the company’s head of sales for finished product. “More than ever
there’s a real appetite for scripted genres such as telenovelas in Eastern
Europe and this is a key part of what we have to offer.”
