INHD Launches Original Programming Block

NEW YORK, June 14: The INHD Network is gearing up to launch Mojo, a prime-time block featuring high-definition
original series targeted towards male viewers.

Mojo launches on the
cable network on June 18 at 9 p.m. and is geared to a group INHD is referring
to as the “Mojo men.” Robert D. Jacobson, the president and CEO of iN DEMAND
Networks, which owns INHD, noted, "In just three years, INHD has
successfully built a loyal and enthusiastic following among the early adopters
of the hi-def experience. This audience has grown to want even more than just
great quality video. They want an HD destination specifically designed to serve
their interests. Mojo is that
destination. It is dedicated to being an exhilarating resource for men who live
accomplished and adventurous lives, and who have an insatiable appetite for
exploration of new worlds, new ideas and new achievements."

Programming will cover dining, music, technology, finance
and travel, “presented with intelligence, wit and style—and with a male
point of view which invokes the sensibilities of the upscale men's magazine
world,” INHD said in a statement. The block will air Sundays and Wednesdays
from 9 p.m. to midnight. Titles include Three Sheets, in which comedian Zane Lamprey travels around the
world engaging in local drinking customs and traditions; the companion piece Beer
Nutz
, in which American breweries are
visited; Decades, featuring
concerts with top music artists; the tentatively titled Doctor Danger with NBC news correspondent Dr. Bob Arnot; Technical
Difficulties
, where teams embark on a
scavenger hunt involving new gadgets; and the documentary series Wall
Street Warriors
.

"We know that the Mojo audience expects programming that's intelligent, upscale and
original," said David Asch, the senior VP of programming at INHD,
"and we've delivered a lineup of new shows that are both exhilarating and
informative in unusual ways. Mojo
will provide fuel for the varied and dynamic interests in men's lives."
