BBC Studios Appoints New Leadership Roles in Denmark & Norway

BBC Studios Nordic Production has made three new appointments across Denmark and Norway to support its growth ambitions across the region.

In Denmark, Jens Villebro, currently chief operating officer, has been appointed managing director for Denmark, effective December 1. Villebro will continue in his position as Nordic COO.

To further supports growth ambitions in Denmark, BBC Studios Nordic Production is actively recruiting a program director to work closely with Villebro and the wider team.

In Norway, Mirja Minjares, currently head of entertainment for Norway, has been tapped as managing director as of December 1. Hans Lukas Hansen will join the Norwegian team on January 1 as head of development. Hansen brings extensive senior experience in reality and entertainment formats, having worked on NRK’s reality series Code Red—The Lighthouse and local adaptations of major franchises such as X Factor, Idol and Got Talent.
