AMC Networks Updates International Content Sales Team

AMC Networks has bolstered its international content sales team with the promotion of Louise Cottrell to senior VP of international content sales, and the addition of Jaewoo Kim as director of content sales for the AsiaPac region.

“AMC Networks continues to create high-quality content that captures the imagination of audiences around the world, and our global partnerships that enable that content to be seen and loved are more important than ever,” said Mark Dee-Shapland, senior VP of global content sales, to whom Cottrell and Kim will report. “Louise and Jaewoo’s extensive networks and experience in their territories will help us supercharge those efforts, delivering our premium original series and films to audiences across the globe.”

“I’m excited to take on this new opportunity at such a dynamic time for AMC Networks,” Cottrell said. “Our business continues to evolve, and I look forward to building on our strong foundation to deliver even greater value to our partners and audiences through AMC Networks’ extensive and high-quality content libraries.”

“I have long admired AMC Networks’ legacy of outstanding storytelling and am thrilled to be joining the company,” Kim commented. “I look forward to working with the company’s valued partners to bring audiences across the AsiaPac region our fantastic slate of scripted and unscripted content.”

Additionally, Todd Barton, formerly director of content sales for Asia, will now be responsible for international licensing for the company’s anime business, Sentai.
