Artist View Celebrates 35 Years with Focus on High-Quality, Indie Titles

Scott J. Jones, president of Artist View Entertainment, highlights how the company, which is celebrating its 35th year in business, has remained steadfast in its pursuit to bring high-quality, independently made content to the world.

“Our core mission has remained consistent since day one,” says Scott J. Jones, President. “From the very beginning, we set out to be a competitive sales agency recognized as a trusted, prosperous home for independent filmmakers to bring their projects. Equally important, we’ve always made it our priority to treat distributors and broadcasters with the highest level of respect and to serve their needs with dedication and integrity.”

In fact, I like to joke that our niche is that we don’t have one.”

While certain aspects of the industry have changed over the years—most notably, the recent rise of digital distribution and the growing popularity of FAST and AVOD platforms—the business remains the same at its core. “This remains a business where platforms and channels each serve their own distinct niches,” Jones says. “With that in mind, we aim to offer a little something for every buyer we work with.”

The slate of titles Artist View is bringing to MIPCOM reflects this philosophy. From the new eight-part war docuseries Fortress to the action title American Warrior to the rom-com Love on Tap, the company has a wide variety of genres available for buyers to choose from.
