FilmRise Acquires Theorist Inc. Video Libraries

FilmRise has partnered with Lunar X to secure the rights to repackage and distribute the Theorist Inc. video libraries in English-speaking territories.

The libraries include content from the popular YouTube channels Game Theory, Film Theory, Food Theory and Style Theory, with a combined subscriber base of over 40 million. Hosted by Matthew Patrick, aka MatPat, each channel features accessible and engaging scientific analyses of the topics at hand.

FilmRise made the deal in order to further expand its Creator Partner Program (CPP), which delivers new audiences and global revenue streams to creators.
