Tekashi69 VS The World Leads Snap’s New Originals Slate

Snap has unveiled its new slate of Snap Originals, which will begin airing on Snapchat’s Discover page this fall.

Leading the new slate is Tekashi69 VS The World, a docuseries that traces the rise and fall of the controversial rapper, from his days growing up in Brooklyn and his chart-topping career to his trouble with the FBI and eventual incarceration. Each season of Snap’s new VS The World franchise will explore the lives of some of the biggest names in pop culture.

In the factual genre, there’s also Nikita Unfiltered, a docuseries that follows the transgender beauty mogul Nikita Dragun; The Honeybeez, about Alabama State’s plus-size dance squad; Driven, which follows the young entrepreneurs at PTG365 in the exotic car industry; and Mind Yourself, an anthology series that delivers honest portraits of young people living with or recovering from a mental health issue.

New original scripted series include Everything’s Fine, a comedy that follows a college junior with a recent bipolar diagnosis who has plans to kill the music business; Players, which centers on the son of a famed NBA player who is a rising star himself; and Save Me, a show about an isolated homeschooler who takes it upon himself to find and save an online classmate who goes missing.

Snap has also announced the renewals of the docuseries Bringing Up Bhabie, the drama Two Sides and the scripted comedy series Kappa Crypto.
