LOS ANGELES: Brad Falchuk, co-creator of American Horror Story and Scream Queens, has inked a new multiyear deal with 20th Century Fox Television.

Under the new pact, Falchuk will continue as showrunner on both AHS and Scream Queens, and will remain executive producer of the new anthology series American Crime Story. He will also focus on developing new projects for the studio.

Falchuk started his working relationship with Ryan Murphy as a staff writer on Nip/Tuck and became executive producer on that show. The pair went on to co-create Glee, along with Ian Brennan. Falchuck and Murphy then co-created the American Horror Story franchise.

“Brad has been an excellent partner to our studio,” said Fox Television Group co-chairman and co-CEO Dana Walden. “He is a hugely talented writer and director who has been integral to the creation of two of the most iconic and successful shows in recent television history. We love working with him and are very happy that he will continue to call Twentieth Century Fox Television his professional home.”
