Production Starts on Second Season of Welcome to Sweden

LOS ANGELES: Entertainment One (eOne) has begun production on the second season of Welcome to Sweden, a fish-out-of-water comedy executive produced by siblings Greg Poehler and Amy Poehler.

The series, about a New York accountant (Greg Poehler) who moves to Sweden to be with the woman he loves, is slated to return on TV4 in Sweden, NBC in the U.S. and Bell Media in Canada with ten half-hour episodes. Neve Campbell (Scream, Party of Five) will join the cast on the show’s second run for a four-episode arc.

The Poehler siblings executive produce the show for Syskon, along with Fredrik Arefalk for TV4 and Carrie Stein for eOne. Additional exec producers are Josephine Bornebusch and Iréne Lindblad for Jarowskij, with Johanna Bergenstråhle as producer. eOne handles the worldwide rights for the series in all media.
