Minimax Channel Expands Presence in CE

BUDAPEST: Chello Central Europe’s children’s channel Minimax has launched on Telekom Slovenije in Slovenia.

Minimax is currently available in 11 territories and six languages. The channel is be fully dubbed and aimed at 2- to 14-year-olds.

“We are committed to creating a trusted destination for kids and parents and are very pleased to extend our offering to Slovenia,” said Levente Malnay, the CEO of Chello Central Europe. “Taking into account the local appetite for kids’ products, Minimax will be a key player in the region’s channel market.”

“We feel privileged that our relatively small market with a unique local language is getting the attention that is usually a benefit of large markets,” added Irena Battelino, the head of content acquisition at Telekom Slovenije.
