Lifetime Hires New Acquisitions Exec

NEW YORK: Meghan Hooper has been named VP of program acquisitions for Lifetime Networks.

Based in New York, Hooper will report to Christian Drobnyk, the senior VP of scheduling and acquisitions at Lifetime Networks, overseeing all program acquisitions for Lifetime, Lifetime Movie Network and Lifetime Real Women. Previously, Hooper was the director of program acquisitions and administration for NBCUniversal, where she managed acquisitions and inventory of all films and series for USA Network and its emerging sister networks Cloo and Universal HD.

“I’m delighted to have someone with Meghan’s caliber joining Lifetime Networks,” Drobnyk said. “Her creative and strategic insights to programming and acquisitions will play an integral role in further building our powerful brand.”
