DIRECTV Latin America Picks Up Hit BBC Worldwide Series

RIO DE JANEIRO: DIRECTV Latin America has secured the first and second seasons of the hit BBC Worldwide series Mad Dogs and Outcasts.

Mad Dogs, which stars Max Beesley (Survivors, Hotel Babylon), Philip Glenister (Life on Mars, Cranford) and John Simm (Life on Mars, Doctor Who), is a four-part series. It features a group of friends traveling to Majorca to visit a luxury villa, with sinister results.

The sci-fi drama Outcasts, from the creators of Life on Mars, MI-5 and Hustle, takes place in 2045 in a post-Earth era. It stars Eric Mabius (Ugly Betty, The L Word), Liam Cunningham (Clash of The Titans) and Hermione Norris (MI-5, Wire in the Blood).
