Hulu Bulks Up U.K. Fare

LOS ANGELES: Hulu has shored up the digital rights to Misfits from BBC Worldwide, as well as The Booth at the End and Whites from Content Media Corporation.

All three series will make their U.S. premiere on Hulu.com and Hulu Plus as part of exclusive first run, multi-year distribution deals with BBC Worldwide and Content Media.

The first two episodes of Misfits launch on Hulu June 20. The acclaimed Channel 4 comedy follows five unruly teens who develop superpowers after a freak electrical storm hits their town. The Booth at the End, a psychological thriller from Vuguru, will premiere on July 11. Whites, a comedy for the BBC set in the kitchen of a country house hotel, premieres on July 20.
