Spike Orders New Original

NEW YORK: Spike TV has picked up six episodes of the original half-hour unscripted series Flipping Foreclosures, set for a fall premiere.

Flipping Foreclosures features the entrepreneurial duo of Doug Clark and Mike Baird, who turn around foreclosed properties. In each episode, the hosts will walk viewers through the process that’s involved with flipping houses and provide tips and analysis along the way.

"The heart of the series is our enterprising, ambitious hosts who look to persevere in the financially precarious world of real estate," said Tim Duffy, Spike TV’s senior VP original series. 

"When Doug and Mike fix up a once-dilapidated property, the positive effect on a community is tremendous," added Sharon Levy, the executive VP of original series and animation for Spike TV. "Their efforts help strengthen a neighborhood which, in turn, has shown to help reduce crime."
