Studio100 Scores Deal for Puppetry Series

MUNICH, July 15: Telepool
has acquired the exclusive TV and home-entertainment rights, including IPTV and
VOD, for Big and Small from
Studio100 Media, and will also serve as the agent for the property’s licensing
rights in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Entertainment for the BBC, in association with 3J’s Entertainment, Treehouse TV
and Studio100, the 52×11-minute series is currently in production, slated for
delivery in fall. The preschool series features puppets, incorporating elements
of story, song and audience participation.

Patrick Elemendorff, the general manager of Studio100 Media, said, “Big
and Small
is the perfect show for
preschoolers. With the established broadcast agreements in Canada, Turkey and
the U.K. and now with Telepool on board, we are confident that it will have
universal appeal. It is our long-term strategy to deliver a successful series
and licensing and merchandising program both in Germany and internationally.”
