truTV HD Added to FiOS TV Lineup

NEW YORK: Verizon FiOS TV customers now have access to truTV HD as part of their channel lineup, airing coverage of the 2011 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship in high definition.

The 2011 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship kicks off with first-round coverage of the NCAA First Four on March 15 and March 16 at 6:30 p.m. both days, on truTV. The truTV HD channel is already available to FiOS TV customers in Texas, Florida, California, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, downstate New York and the Philadelphia area; It will be available to all FiOS TV customers by March 16. Verizon customers also have online access to truTV programming through FiOS TV Online.
