Hickenlooper Docuseries to Proceed Despite Passing of Director

TORONTO: Tricon Films & Television has announced that production on the docuseries Hick Town will continue, in light of the sudden death of director George Hickenlooper.

Hick Town follows the career of Denver, Colorado’s mayor, John Hickenlooper, who is George’s cousin. It follows his rise from a small businessman to becoming one of Time magazine’s top five mayors in America. Of the eight episodes planned, only two remain to be filmed. This will include footage from the elections. The series will be dedicated to George’s wife Suzanne and son Charles.
