LONDON: The BBC has commissioned a fourth run of the hit show Merlin from FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME).

The third season of the hit fantasy-drama is currently airing on BBC One, drawing in weekly an average audience of more than 6 million viewers. FME has sold the series to more than 52 broadcasters in more than 180 countries, including Germany to RTL and the U.S. to Syfy.

Consistent audience figures week on week in the U.K., fantastic cast and guest stars further cement its cross generational appeal. We are continuing to work with the best broadcasters, producers and licensing partners on this brand and look forward to its ongoing success.”
