IFC Slates Zombie-Horror-Comedy Dead Set

LOS ANGELES: The Channel 4 five-part horror event Dead Set, set within Britain’s Big Brother house, is to air on IFC in the U.S. in the run-up to Halloween.

Dead Set is partially filmed at the real U.K. Big Brother set and features the show’s host, Divina McCall, in front of an actual eviction night audience and will feature cameos by former contestants. The apocalyptic production will make its U.S. TV premiere on IFC on October 25, airing over five consecutive nights. The channel will then air a special marathon event feature all five parts back-to-back on Halloween day starting at 8 p.m. Dead Set is produced by Zeppotron, an Endemol company (producers of Big Brother).
