NBCU Digital Studio Exec Takes Expanded Role

UNIVERSAL CITY: Cameron Death has been promoted to senior VP and general manager of NBC Universal Digital Studio.

The Studio creates original digital content for advertisers and distributes it across the digital, cable and network platforms of NBC Universal. In Death’s new role, he adds responsibility for creating new revenue streams, integrating more closely with NBCU’s core entertainment properties and extending libraries into international and secondary markets. Death has been at the helm of the Digital Studio since its inception. Prior to NBC, he spent more than ten years at Microsoft, driving marketing, sales, business and product development strategies for several online businesses.

Vivi Zigler, the president at NBC Universal Digital Entertainment, commented: "Cameron has done what many thought impossible. He has created a Digital Studio from the ground up, achieving repeated success with top-notch entertainment that puts brands front and center."
