CNBC Names EMEA Distribution Exec

LONDON: Justine Powell has been tapped as VP of distribution for EMEA at CNBC, where she will drive the business and financial news network’s expansion across TV and digital platforms, both to the home and commercial premises such as banks, financial institutions, hotels and airlines.

Powell will also drive the licensing of CNBC’s VOD clips and long-form programming to pay-TV platforms and digital distributors and be responsible for relationships with cable and satellite operators across the region. CNBC is currently available in more than 130 million homes in EMEA.

Powell joins from MTV Networks International, where she was VP of digital media. She was previously senior manager at BBC Future Media & Technology. In her new post, she reports to Mick Buckley, president and CEO for EMEA.
