September Films Secures A&E Commissions

LONDON/LOS ANGELES: DCD’s September Films has been commissioned to produce two specials for A&E in the U.S.

The one-hour Raising Bains follows an American family consisting of 13 kids, 12 adopted. Exec-produced by Sheldon Lazarus and directed by Eric Streit, it airs on A&E August 23. Billy the Exterminator: Billy Goes To The Gulf, also one hour, follows the successful real-life series Billy The Exterminator. In the special, Billy and his brother Ricky travel to the Gulf Coast in the wake of the devastation caused by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. It airs July 28.

Other September Films U.S. productions include Mall Cops: Mall of America on TLC; Billy The Exterminator, in season two on A&E; and Bridezillas on WEtv.
