WotWots Headed to the Middle East

DOHA: Al Jazeera Children’s Channel has picked up the rights to The WotWots for its Baraem TV preschool service in prime time in 2011.

The 52×10-minute series from New Zealand, recently acquired by The Hub in the U.S., has been airing on TVNZ since 2009. It also airs in Australia on ABC1 and ABC2 and in Canada on Treehouse. The show follows the adventures of two adorable siblings from outer space, SpottyWot and DottyWot. It is produced by Pukeko Pictures and made at Richard Taylor’s Weta Workshop. TV and DVD sales outside of North America are handled by ABC Commercial.
