Cartoon Network Orders Hole in the Wall Episodes

ATLANTA: Cartoon Network is beefing up its game-show lineup, ordering ten episodes of Hole in the Wall from FremantleMedia North America.

Casting is currently underway for the new U.S. version of the Japanese-originated format, which was previously adapted stateside by FOX. Cartoon Network will air the show in a half-hour format and will pit two teams of families against each other in the competition. 

The show will add to Cartoon Network’s current game show offerings: Dude, What Would Happen and Destroy Build Destroy, which air Wednesdays at 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. respectively.

Hole in the Wall, repped by FremantleMedia internationally, originated on Fuji TV in 2006 and has since been adapted in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Colombia, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Malaysia, Mexico, Russia, Sweden and the U.K.
