Fourth Season Planned for Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

BURBANK: The preschool series Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is getting a fourth season, consisting of 13 episodes and nine extended specials, for broadcast on Disney Junior, The Walt Disney Company’s new television and online brand.

Season three of the popular series will continue to roll out on Playhouse Disney on Disney Channel through 2011 with new episodes, the fitness-themed short-form series Mickey Mousekersize and two prime-time specials, including Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Road Rally. The Playhouse Disney block will be rebranded as Disney Junior in 2011, ahead of the debut of the full channel, in place of SOAPNet, in 2012.

Launched in May 2006, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse ranks among the top 10 series on all TV with kids 2-5 this year to date.
