FIC Increases Presence in Russia

MOSCOW: FOX International Channels (FIC) has launched three of its networks—Fox Life, Fox Crime and Nat Geo Wild HD—on NTV-PLUS in Russia.

The three channels will broadcast seven days a week, fully localized into Russian.

Fox Life targets 25- to 45-year-olds, skewing female. It airs series such as Mad Men, True Blood, Desperate Housewives, Cougar Town, Ugly Betty and Private Practice. Fox Crime is an entertainment channel dedicated entirely to crime and investigation. Shows int he lineup include Criminal Minds, Dexter, The Sopranos, The Wire and the Law & Order franchise. Nat Geo Wild HD offers wildlife programing.
