Alfred Haber Secures Scream Awards 2010

PALISADES PARK: Alfred Haber Distribution (AHDI) has again been named the exclusive international distributor for Spike TV’s Scream 2010, an awards event that honors the best in sci-fi, fantasy, horror and comic genres.

AHDI has served as the exclusive international distributor for the Scream Awards since the show’s creation in 2006. Spike TV’s fifth annual event is scheduled for broadcast in October. The two-hour show honors the top newcomers as well as legends in the industries of fantasy films, horror franchises, sci-fi series, comic book creation and more.

“This past February’s broadcast of the 2010 Oscars included a long overdue salute to the notion that horror, sci-fi and fantasy films are big, really big business,” commented Alfred Haber, the founder of AHDI. “Eighty percent of the top grossing films of all time are in the ‘SCREAM’ genres and, given the worldwide sales success that we have witnessed with this award show since 2006, it is further evidence that audiences the world over know what they want and it is indeed scream-provoking programming.”
