Video Interview: ZDF Enterprises’ Alexander Coridass

NEW YORK: Alexander Coridass, the president and CEO of ZDF Enterprises, reveals in this video interview his strategy for positioning the company as a one-stop shop for filling broadcasters’ programming needs.

Since its formation in 1993, ZDF Enterprises, the commercial arm of the German public broadcaster ZDF, has been rolling out a diverse portfolio of programming to broadcasters worldwide, from drama series and mini-series to documentaries and kids’ programs. Led by Alexander Coridass as president and CEO, ZDF Enterprises has become much more than a distributor of German-language fare. Indeed, the company has been expanding its co-production activities and taking on the rights to a varied slate of content from around the world, ranging from Danish crime series to Australian live-action tween fare. With its huge portfolio, ZDF Enterprises has been offering themed programming collections to broadcasters, such as History to Go and Prime Crime. As Coridass reveals in this video interview, this strategy reflects ZDF Enterprises’ position as a one-stop shop for filling broadcasters’ programming needs.
