El Clon Clinches Deals in 13 Territories

CANNES: The new version of El Clon, co-produced by TV Globo and Telemundo, has sold to 13 countries in Latin America, and Globo TV International is in Cannes looking to shore up slots in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The series, based on Globo’s hit Brazilian novela of the same name, premiered on Telemundo in the U.S. in February and is also airing to solid ratings in Mexico. Globo TV International represents the EMEA rights and is highlighting the series at MIPTV.
