SYDNEY: Beyond Distribution has taken on the worldwide rights for Wild Animal Baby Explorers, the first children’s series produced by the National Wildlife Federation of the U.S. and Xing Xing Digital Corporation for PBS.

The show follows intrepid wildlife explorers Skip, Izzy, Benita and Sammy, under the guidance of Miss Sally, as they encounter the natural world in up-close detail. The 52×12-minute series uses 3D animated characters and HD live-action background footage. Beyond will present the title at MIPTV.

"We’re really thrilled to be working with Beyond Distribution on our Wild Animal Baby Explorers project," said NWF’s director of production, Tony Summers. "Beyond has an exceptional track record and is well respected around the world for distributing quality shows."

Yvonne Body, the head of acquisitions for Beyond Distribution, added, “We are very excited to add Wild Animal Baby Explorers to our select roster of children’s programming. Preschool kids will love the characters of the explorers and their adventures in the natural world. The wonderful mix of animated characters and HD live-action footage is guaranteed to make learning about nature fun.”
