TORONTO: Shaftesbury Sales Company has licensed its popular kids’ live-action series Connor Undercover into Latin America, Belgium and France.

Boomerang Latin America and VRT in Belgium opted for two seasons each, while France’s DTT channel Gulli picked up 13 episodes. “Connor Undercover is a show that appeals to audiences around the world," said Shane Kinnear, VP of sales, marketing and digital media. "We are delighted to bring the program to these markets."

Created by John May and Suzanne Bolch of Heroic Film Company and produced by Suzanne French for Shaftesbury Films, the show is currently heading into season two. It follows 15-year-old Connor Heath, the world’s biggest spy buff, who saw his life kick into overdrive the day Gisela Calicos, firebrand first daughter of a small island nation, showed up to live with his family. The series was commissioned by Family Channel (Canada) and is distributed internationally by Shaftesbury Sales Company.
