STAR & Media Prima Berhad Renew Pact

HONG KONG: STAR Greater China has renewed its deal with Media Prima Berhad that will result in more than 20 titles from the Fortune Star library heading to the free-TV channels TV3, 8TV, TV9 and NTV7.

Media Prima will license from STAR the TV rights to some 20 Fortune Star titles, including The Fist of Fury; three Jet Li offerings, including Once Upon a Time in China and Black Mask; and several Jacky Chan features, including Police Story, Dragon Lord, Winners and Sinners and My Lucky Stars. Fortune Star recently expanded its portfolio with the addition of more than 100 titles acquired from China STAR group companies.
