Galileo to Debut on Romania’s Prima TV

MUNICH: SevenOne International’s sciencetainment magazine show Galileo is launching on Prima TV in Romania on February 22 at 5:30 p.m., with the local version to be hosted by TV reporter Marius Saizu.

The show will air weekdays under its original title. Galileo debuted on Germany’s ProSieben in 1998 and has been adapted locally in territories such as Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Ukraine, Russia and France. The program explains common, technical and scientific phenomena in an understandable way.

Veronica Sorescu, the deputy managing director of Prima TV, said: "We hope that to our audiences will become addicted to Galileo and its entertaining way to inform about interesting truths and facts. On Prima TV there is no better place for such a program than right before the national news. We are proud to be presenting the Romanian version with one of the country’s most popular TV presenters, Marius Saizu."
