FME Adds to Newly Created Children’s Division

LONDON: FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) has appointed Bob Higgins to the role of senior VP of children’s and family entertainment, a division which launched in October.

Higgins will be based in New York and will report to Sander Schwartz, the executive VP, head of children’s and family entertainment. Higgins will work with Schwartz to plan and execute the overall creative vision for FME’s children’s business, while managing content, including acquisitions, development and sales on a global basis. Prior to FME, Higgins was chief creative officer for Wildbrain, where he oversaw production of the hit series Yo Gabba Gabba.

Schwartz commented, “My first task when joining FME was to start building my dream team and Bob was a natural choice for this role, he has an impeccable track record in the kids’ content business. Over the years Bob has been responsible for developing several ground-breaking series and we’re looking forward to working together on many more under the FME banner. ”
