Paul Johnson to Exit Endemol Group

HILVERSUM: Paul Johnson is exiting the role of global head of marketing and brand partnerships at Endemol at the end of the year, after joining the company in March of this year from Reed MIDEM.

Johnson, formerly the director of the television division at Reed MIDEM, will consult for Endemol through Q1 2010, the company said today. "Endemol is one of the most creative and dynamic companies in the industry and has undergone significant growth and development over the course of 2009," Johnson said. "As the business has changed so too have Endemol’s strategy and structure. As a result, I’ve concluded that the time is right for me to move on. It’s been a privilege to be part of such an exceptionally talented team and I look forward to working in a consultancy capacity with some of my colleagues in 2010."

Endemol’s chairman and CEO, Ynon Kreiz, said: “Paul has carried out a very valuable role during a time of significant change at Endemol. We will miss his energy, dedication and motivation, which have been second to none. We look forward to consulting with him on specific projects next year and wish him all the very best for the future.”
