FCCE Presents Films & Stars Asia

SINGAPORE/AMSTERDAM: Film Content Company Europe (FCCE) is at the Asia TV Forum launching the new weekly lifestyle entertainment program Films & Stars Asia, which combines Asian and Hollywood film and star celebrity news.

Films & Stars Asia, available for presales, is the Asia-specific version of FCCE’s flagship program Films & Stars, currently on air weekly in 73 countries worldwide. FCCE Asia Pacific, established a year ago, produces and delivers a range of weekly and daily lifestyle entertainment programs and news feeds to media platforms in the Asia Pacific. In 2010, FCCE Asia Pacific will also be launching red carpet movie premiere events in Asia, covering Hollywood movie launches as well as major Asian films.

FCCE Asia Pacific’s managing director, Ian A. Jones, said: “This is our second ATF, our first was in December 2008 when we officially launched the company FCCE Asia Pacific and opened FCCE’s offices in Singapore. Our key initiative this ATF is the launch of the new Films & Stars Asia entertainment program. Also part of our developing entertainment platform in the Asian region are red carpet movie premiere events, engaging consumers across media platforms, providing a spectrum of opportunities to interact with audiences. This is all founded in FCCE’s vision of a cross-medial ‘hub and spoke’ approach where each platform, such as: the new Films & Stars Asia program, a movie premiere event and an online community all work in synergy, creating a truly innovative and successful dynamic.”

FCCE’s chief commercial officer, Justus A.G. Verkerk, added: “We are happy to announce the launch and production of our new program: Films & Stars Asia. This new addition brings FCCE’s growing slate of programming to an ever-increasing global audience. Firmly rooted in experience and a proven track record of successful business cases in Europe and elsewhere we are now poised to present our programming to local clients and potential partners in the broader Asia-Pacific region. We are not only presenting FCCE’s core business of programs and content, but also a local business sense coupled with specific know-how, research based industry facts and figures and international expertise. In addition to broadcasters and digital channels to benefit from our content, we are also aiming for advanced strategic partnerships in the Asian region that can benefit from our cross-medial approach.”
