Moonscoop Clinches Pre-ATF Deals

PARIS: Ahead of next month’s Asia Television Forum (ATF), Moonscoop has signed a raft of deals with broadcasters throughout Asia, totaling 350 half hours.

OKTO (previously TV12) of Singapore picked up the preschool shows Chloe’s Closet and Ava Riko Teo as well as Geronimo Stilton. In Malaysia, Astro went for ToddWorld, based on the book by Todd Parr, and NTV7 acquired the HD animated series Bunny Maloney, which has also been picked up by True Vision in Thailand, alongside deals for seasons two and three of Titeuf, Geronimo Stilton and Cosy Corner. Bobby’s World, Ivanhoe and Chloe’s Closet have also been sold to to Chutti TV, Sun TV’s children’s channel in India.

Moonscoop has also sold Ava Riko Teo to Good TV in Taiwan and A Town Called Panic to EBS in Korea. In Japan, Gauguins renewed cable and satellite rights to the show.

Lionel Marty, the president of worldwide sales at Moonscoop, said: “Asia is a major territory for us and one where our shows do very well.
