9 Story Names New Development VP

TORONTO: Children’s programming producer Liliana Vogt has been named VP of development for 9 Story Entertainment, the Canadian outfit behind hits such as Peep and the Big Wide World and Skyland.

Vogt most recently served as co-executive producer of Chilly Beach, an animated youth comedy series that ran for three seasons on the CBC. Vogt also served as supervising executive of the animated shorts series Maple Shorts for CBC, and creative executive of The Very Good Adventures of Yam Roll In Happy Kingdom for the CBC and Cartoon Network. She was also previously the VP of acquisitions and co-productions at Salter Street Films, VP of sales and co-productions at Sullivan Entertainment and director of international sales at Norstar Entertainment.

Reporting to Vince Commisso, the CEO of 9 Story Entertainment, Vogt will be responsible for all facets of content development for the company. “Liliana is a unique talent with an impressive track record of recognizing and developing truly interesting and engaging properties,” said Commisso. “We have a robust development slate, with partnerships all over the world.
