9 Story Enters Co-Production for Adult Animated Comedy

TORONTO, June 16: 9 Story
Entertainment and Darius Films will team up to produce a pilot, called Fugget
About It, for a prime-time
animated sitcom that follows the misadventures of a powerful former mob boss
and his family.

The pilot has been
commissioned for TELETOON’s teen and adult programming block, The Detour. It centers on Jimmy Falcone, a typical mobster who
is moved into the witness-protection program and is relocated to a sleepy
Canadian town. The series is co-created and written by Willem Wennekers (Weirdsville). 9 Story's Vince Commisso will executive produce
along with co-creator and executive producer Nicholas Tabarrok of Darius Films
(The Life and Hard Times of Guy Terrifico). 9 Story will handle the worldwide distribution for the series.

funny fish-out-water show," said Commisso, 9 Story's CEO. "We
recognized early on that this series has enormous potential and knew this was
the right project for us to take out as a prime-time animated comedy. We look
forward to working with the talented team at Darius Films in what we're
confident will be a hit with adult and teen audiences everywhere."
