3net to Commemorate 100th Anniversary of Indy 500

CULVER CITY: 3net has lined up a one-hour special to celebrate the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 with On the Inside Line: The Indy 500, featuring the world’s first 3D coverage of the event.

The hour-long presentation will provide viewers with a comprehensive look at the Indianapolis 500, including 3D coverage of pre-race celebrations such as the Festival Parade, Pole Day, Bump Day and Carb Day. On the day of the race, 3net will be following inside the garage for the last-minute preparations, team meetings and the pre-race ceremony. During the race, the network will be broadcasting 3D coverage of the action from the point of view of featured drivers, with 3D cameras in the pits and around the crews. Additional 3D cameras will be feature on the car, on the track and around the race. The program is produced by New Wave Entertainment.
