2waytraffic to Roll Out New Reality Formats at MIPCOM

HILVERSUM, October 3: 2waytraffic International is bringing
two new reality formats to MIPCOM, F.A.B.S.:
Search For A Video Model and 6
Handshakes Away
.

F.A.B.S.: Search
For A Video Model
sees ten girls battle it
out for a cash prize, new car and the chance to star in a music video from one
of the world’s most well-known recording artists. The girls will cohabitate in
a luxurious apartment, and will be faced with daily assignments. 2waytraffic
has signed a deal with Warner Music, which will offer up the recording artist
whose video the winner will star in, as well as other music stars that will
contribute to the show.

The weekly 10×50-minute series will launch on Veronica, SBS
Broadcasting’s youth channel in the Netherlands, on October 4. The channel is
also running an extensive on- and off-air marketing campaign, including more
than 400 billboards and posters, and radio adverts.

Ed Louwerse, the managing director of 2waytraffic
International, said: “F.A.B.S.: Search For A Video
Model
is a fantastic addition to the
2waytraffic catalogue. Thanks to the deal with Warner Music we can deliver our
broadcast partners the complete package—a great format with a track
record as well as guaranteed first-rate recording talent to appear in it.”

2waytraffic’s second new offering, 6 Handshakes Away, is based on the popular theory that we are all only
six degrees of separation away from anyone in the world. The format takes four
complete strangers, splits them into two teams, and puts them in a race against
time to track down some the most popular celebrities in just five days. The
teams must use a social network beginning only with the people they already
know, and whichever teams gets to the star in the fewest handshakes will win a
cash prize.
