2waytraffic Acquires Rights to The Real Fame Game

HILVERSUM, October 2: 2waytraffic International has secured
the worldwide distribution rights to The Real Fame Game, a game-show format from Japan’s Yomiuri Telecasting
Corporation (YTV), for roll out at MIPCOM.

The Real Fame Game launched
on Japan’s YTV in 1997. Under the terms of the deal, 2waytraffic will adapt the
show for western audiences and distribute the format globally, as well as
leverage the series across multiple platforms.

The show examines the nature of modern celebrity and the
celebrities’ perception of themselves. Famous faces must prove their worth by
competing in a series of rounds that test how well the public knows them.

Ed Louwerse, the managing director of 2waytraffic
International, commented: “The Real Fame Game has a particularly unique take on our fascination with celebrities
which makes it stand out in the market. Its good-natured irreverence sets it
apart, and I’m greatly looking forward to working alongside YTV in bringing this hugely enjoyable
format to a global audience.”
