11.9 Million Viewers Tune In for Sopranos Sendoff

NEW YORK, June 13: The series finale of The Sopranos on HBO on Sunday night delivered 11.9 million
viewers, becoming the fourth most-watched episode since the show premiered in
1999.

The episode was the second most-watched show on TV this
week, following the season premiere of NBC’s America’s Got Talent last Tuesday, which delivered 12.9 million viewers.

The sixth and final season of the acclaimed mob drama
averaged 8.2 million viewers—its lowest average audience since 2000. The
single most popular Sopranos episode was
the season four premiere in 2002, with 13.4 million viewers.
